Roskilde Festival 2023

Live Stream, Webcast, Lineup, Set Times

Roskil1

With the summer now officially underway even in the more northern countries of Europe we start to see the major festivals of the year taking place in a number of places, and at the end of June Denmark gets in on the act with the eponymous festival in the town of Roskilde.

This event have been taking place since 1971, making it one of the more long running European festivals, and in it's current incarnation takes place over a total of 8 days, which really marks it out for longevity in terms of days lasted if nothing else - most of biggest festivals usually last only 3 or 4 days. The longer period of time makes for more visitors of course, and over the course of the event in excess of 130,000 people are expected through the gates.

Camping is a big feature of the festival, and away from the music stages there are a number of additional facilities provided that really help lend Roskilde a unique feel - things like a cinema, lake for swimming in and skate park provide diversions to help pass the time between watching your favourite acts. Oh, and there's also a naked run around the campsite that seems to get more popular each year...

Full Line Up for Roskilde Festival 2023

Streaming and Social Media

In previous years the Roskilde organisers have been experimenting with streaming some of the live acts on their official website, where rights permission could be obtained. This has proven pretty successful so we can hopefully expect to see the same again this year.

Probably the best bet is to visit their official facebook page which they update regularly - Roskilde Facebook

A few years ago there was live streaming available via Red Bull TV but it doesn't look like it's going to return but thought it best to pop it on in case of any last minute uploads - Roskilde live stream

The festival also has it's own radio station that broadcasts 24/7 during the event:

There is also an official Youtube channel with videos from the festival, including lineup announcements etc:
